The app helps connect pet owners with pet businesses in their area
Latest news from Book Your Pet app...
Leading pet service booking app, Book Your Pet, has announced its launch in UK by taking part in the nations favourite dog-friendly festival, DogFest.
Sponsoring the ever popular, Haybale Race at seven 2-day festivals across the country this summer, Book Your Pet, hopes to make it easier for pet owners to connect with pet businesses in their local area both in the UK and US.
The platform, which currently sees over 100,000 appointments being set per month, was born when founders Ralph Romero and Anita Flad Romero found themselves struggling to secure a dog grooming appointment for their two yorkies who were in desperate need of a trim. With their regular groomer unavailable, Ralph and Anita spent the best part of a week trawling through Google reviews and trying to get hold of groomers who didn’t call back.
Realising there was a gap in the market, the pair used their tech expertise to build a platform that would simplify the booking process for everyone involved, making it easier for owners to find a reliable pet service near them, and simplifying the way pet business owners operate.
Book Your Pet has been designed to help speed up the booking process, so pet owners can find and contact trusted service providers in their local area and know instantly whether there are appointments available.
As well as helping to simplify the booking process, Book Your Pet software is also made to help pet business owners (or petpreneurs) with software designed to streamline and automate their business communications, booking process, appointment calendar; as well as create custom invoices and in-built finance dashboard, and even includes Xero and QuickBooks integrations.
Book Your Pet has amassed transatlantic interest from petpreneurs since initially launching its business software in 2020. It is used as the software of choice by petpreneurs across the US and boasts users in some of the largest cities across the country, including LA, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Phoenix.
It is also proving to be a hit with business owners in the UK attracting petpreneurs from across the country, with one early adopting business making £20,000 from appointments booked via the software in the last two months alone.
Ralph Romero, Book Your Pet CEO and founder, said: “There is no doubt that we as pet owners, love our pets. But it’s often overwhelming trying to find the right groomer, or pet sitter, or dog walker to look after our precious fur babies with new businesses cropping up constantly.”
He continued: “We wanted to create a platform that took away the mystery and uncertainty of finding the best petpreneurs and businesses. But we didn’t stop there, we also considered the many different hats that pet business owners must wear and how juggling so many aspects of a business can get in the way of performing that said business.”
Not only does Book Your Pet provide a software solution for the pet business, but the team are also working to create an entire ecosystem of tech solutions for the pet industry. Their newly launched marketplace has already received thousands of downloads from pet owners through app stores and their upcoming membership aims to provide even more support and enhance the digital experience.
DogFest, in partnership with ManyPets, is the UK’s favourite dog-friendly festival and is not only an absolute must for dogs and dog lovers, but also innovative pet brands. From ergonomic feeding bowls to 100% natural latex orthopaedic dog beds, to the latest training tools – DogFest attracts some of the hottest pet industry retailers and organisations.
Nicole Cooper, CEO of TouchpointLive Media, said: “Although DogFest was created for dogs and dog owners to experience a unique festival in beautiful surroundings, it is also a space for leading pet brands and companies to come and show off their latest offerings. Whether it’s for consumers or pet business owners, we take pride in DogFest being the pinnacle of pet exhibitions.”
