Global pet brand PetSafe® has unveiled its new identity, strategic direction for 2024 and beyond, and portfolio additions, which includes a world first when it comes to product features and benefits.

They’re updates that underpin the brand’s commitment to unleashing a lifetime of joy for pets and the people who love them by providing purposeful, quality products and expert support.

With an innovative portfolio – from app-enabled pet doors to fountains, feeders to training tools and harnesses to self-cleaning litter boxes – bolstered by more than a quarter of a century’s heritage and industry-leading customer care for retailers, distributors and consumers, PetSafe® is now perfectly placed to transform the lives of pet families, while bringing even more joy to pets and their owners.

The new PetSafe® brand brings together all elements of its business strategy and empowers owners to conquer life’s daily pet challenges with the most pioneering of products and confidence-boosting education. All to keep their pets healthy, safe and happy.

The new brand identity is also modern, trustworthy and reliable and attracts attention on shelf and online. Its standout new-brand packaging features easy-to-read product features and benefits, and retailer support will also be provided on and offline with updated in-store point-of-purchase displays, and sales and marketing collateral.

New products include two new additions to the ever-popular PetSafe® pet fountain range. The Outlast™ Pumpless Pet Fountain claims a world first – being the original to not feature a traditional pump, which means that it’s easier to clean and safer to use. Instead, water flows using PetSafe®’s revolutionary HydroSpin™ technology.

The other new addition to the PetSafe® fountain range is the Viva™ Pet Fountain. Available in 1.8 litre and 4.1 litre capacities, its clever design includes a quiet pump for a continuous bubbling flow and a foam filter to catch hair and debris.

Also recently unveiled to Europe is the ScoopFree Clumping Self-Cleaning Litter Box, which makes for tight clusters to be created out of cats’ waste, which is then safely and automatically raked into the covered bin area. It can be used with any clumping litter.

And the brand’s award-winning pet door category is being enhanced with the introduction of the Big Cat Flap. It’s generously sized to accommodate cats and small dogs up to around 11kg and features a Push-&-Turn™ 4-way lock - a secure paw-proof lock to easily manage levels of access as well as a GentleClose™ flap which closes quietly and softly for added safety.

PetSafe BrandsTM – previously Radio Systems Corporation, until it also rebranded in March – appointed Rob Candelino as CEO two years ago. He joined the corporation following a 25-year tenure at Unilever.
