Sales of the frozen treats will raise funds for the charity

Latest news from Doggy Doggy Yum Yum...

With the hot weather now here, dog owners will be able to treat their canine friends to an award-winning tasty frozen treat manufactured by artisan ice cream company, Baboo Gelato, based in Dorset. As well as giving their fur babies a tasty treat, customers will also be fundraising for leading dog charity Dogs for Good.

5p from every tub of the doggy frozen treat sold will be donated to Dogs for Good. Dogs for Good train dogs to help people affected by disability, dementia, autism, other conditions and mental-health challenges to live happier, healthier and more independent lives. These are dogs that open doors, that connect people and bring families together. Dogs that help make everyday life possible in so many ways.  A donation of £539.00 has already been presented to the charity from the manufacturers of Doggy Doggy Yum Yum.

In a letter from Tina Williams, Regional Fundraiser for Dogs for Good she thanked  Doggy Doggy Yum Yum for their support and said that the funds would be used towards a  puppy partnership helping to fund the training of one of their new puppy recruits.

Tina said: “Puppy partnership is such a lovely tangible way to see the difference your support is making to us as you follow your puppy on the first stage of their journey into becoming a life changing assistance or community dog.”

Made with 100% peanut butter (with no xylitol) and bananas which dogs find hard to resist, this frozen treat uses coconut milk instead of dairy so it is kinder to dogs’ tummies. Their new improved recipe also includes organic agave syrup (rather than refined sugars),  Keepers Mix® Sensitive (0.25%) from herbal pet supplement company Dorwest and vegetable fibre. Doggy Doggy Yum Yum contains no artificial flavourings, colours or refined sugars. The new ingredient change means that any ‘ultra processed food’ emulsifiers or stabilisers from the product have been removed, something the manufacturers are extremely proud of.
