After adopting their rescue dog, Bella in 2013, Anicura founder Martin Schiele and his wife Claudia realised that the pet grooming industry was saturated with products, but knowing animals' skin can be even more sensitive than human's, they couldn't find anything that lived up to expectation to care for their new staffie.
Having developed natural skincare products at their (human) skincare company, Salcura, for over 10 years, they drew on their experience and worked with the best suppliers from around the world to create a range of products designed especially for cats and dogs prone to itchy, sensitive, dry & flaky skin and other skin conditions including eczema.
